Get Useful Vehicle History

Each year, automakers buy back thousands of vehicles deemed irrepairable--then resell many to unsuspecting customers. Libbey Glass Federal Credit Union was chartered in April of 1975. Our original name was OILS Federal Credit Union (Owens, Illinois, Libbey, Shreveport). On November 1981 the name was changed to Libbey Glass Federal Credit Union for ease of recognition. Our offices were located in the main Libbey Glass office building. In May of 1998 construction of our own facility was completed. It is located approximately two (2) miles south of the Libbey Glass Plant on the same street. A branch location is still maintained in the Libbey Glass Plant office building. It is now Northwest Louisiana Federal Credit Union.
